FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What people want to know before they run the studio for the first time.
How does it actually work?
You write a briefing. The studio researches your category, picks the creative techniques that suit that specific problem, builds several hundred candidates and screens them against linguistic, cultural and category criteria. What comes back is a ranked shortlist with the reasoning behind every survivor, rather than a long list for you to sift through yourself.
Why can ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok not do this?
They can produce names quickly and in quantity. What they do not do is the work around the names: reading the category before inventing, choosing a method for your problem, generating enough candidates that cutting them means something, and screening what survives across languages and cultures. A general model gives you output. The studio gives you a decision you can explain.
What do I actually receive?
A ranked recommendation of the strongest candidates, each with the case for it and its domain position. It downloads as a PDF laid out to be presented, and as Markdown files written to be handed to your own AI tools.
Can I download the results?
Yes, in both formats. The PDF is for the meeting. The Markdown is structured as agent input, so you can keep working with the studio output in your own environment instead of copying it back into a prompt by hand.
Can I brief my own AI agents with the results?
That is what the Markdown download is for. The results are written as agent input, and the Branding module also exports as a skill, so tools like Lovable, Figma or Canva keep working inside the design system instead of drifting away from it.
How many names do I get?
Several hundred are generated. Far fewer reach you, and that is deliberate. The studio exists to eliminate, and a service that hands back fifty names has moved the work back onto your desk.
Can I give feedback and have it run again?
Yes. Tell the studio what you like, what is off the table and what missed your taste, and it runs again with that in it. The Naming price includes one feedback round.
Is a name from the studio legally cleared?
No, and nothing on this site should be read as saying otherwise. The studio screens for linguistic, cultural and brand-clash problems and checks domain availability. That is not a trademark clearance and it does not replace a trademark attorney. For a name you intend to file and defend, involve one early.
Do you check whether the domain is free?
Yes. The recommendation includes a domain strategy. Candidate domains are developed alongside the names and checked for availability, so a name you fall in love with does not turn out to be unusable.
Which languages and markets do you screen against?
The screen is set by your briefing: the markets you say you are entering and the audiences you say you are speaking to. Cross-language checks look for offensive, taboo and brand-clash readings, including in languages nobody on your team speaks.
What is the difference between the Naming and Branding modules?
Naming produces the name and the reasoning for it. Branding takes the name you chose and builds a first visual direction around it: logo direction, typography, colours, shapes and UX. Branding is a second step, priced separately, and it is optional.
Do I have to buy Branding as well?
No. Naming is a complete piece of work on its own. Branding exists for the moment after you have decided, when you want to see the name standing up before commissioning a full identity.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay per studio run. There is no seat count, no monthly minimum and nothing to cancel.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe. That covers cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay and regional wallets such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, Bancontact, BLIK and Pix. Companies that would rather pay against an invoice can use Billie or Klarna. You pay per run, so there is no subscription to cancel afterwards.
Who is behind the studio?
Agency managers who spent their careers running naming and branding work inside international network agencies. The specialists executing each stage are named AI agents, built from that codified practice and introduced as AI agents on the pages that show them.
